Both of those pieces of "proof" have no credibility at all. The first, "Militant Homosexuality
and Feminism", masquerades as an academic article published in a journal. Of course, if the person has a PhD after their name, it must be legitimate, right? Wrong! I noticed this interesting letterhead: "National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality" I did some quick research - and what did I find? NARTH is an ultra conservative anti-gay organization of fringe psychologists who band together to legitimize their opinions with inaccurate academic articles. As I said, this group has no credibility at all.
The second is a tripod website that claims that feminism and equality is a hate movement simply because there is anger associated with the movement. He points out that although women claim the majority (51%) in America, men are the majority at birth, it's just that male death rates are higher. It is on this bizarre technicality that doesn't even matter that he "shoots down" another feminist claim. If you are going take this nut job for his word, then you're crazier than he is.
Maybe this shit qualifies as legitimate proof in Birmingham, but that doesn't swing in the civilized part of America. Ooooh, a South Joke! Zing! I rule.
